The Villages of Apex is the vision of Warren C. Hale and Partner, Mike Howington who are the development team of Apex First Development. The company donated acreage to build Thales Academy as well as land for Hunter Street Park, a two acre dog park. They built athletic fields for Soccer and Baseball. The Town of Apex selected Apex First Development to create this neighborhood that compliments the small town charm of historic downtown Apex.
The community is in Apex, North Carolina conveniently located on US Hwy 64W, with close proximity to RDU International Airport, Research Triangle Park, excellent health care, schools, colleges and universities and major regional retail centers. The Halle Cultural Arts Center was originally built as the Apex Town Hall in 1912. Today it features a 135 seat theater, three galleries and two studio classrooms and presents an ongoing schedule of art exhibitions, performances and movie screenings. The NC Division of Parks and Recreation operates nine recreation areas at the nearby Jordan Lake State Recreation Area.
